This is a hybrid variety which is a cross between true lavender and spike lavender and therefore contains properties from both oils. It produces a higher yield and is therefore a much cheaper alternative to true lavender. It is commonly used to help soothe muscle and joint pain. Also used during cold and flu season to cleanse the air and stimulate the mind and body
