Lanolin is a wax found in sheep’s wool, which serves to shield their skin and wool from the elements. It is incorporated into many skin and haircare products due to its emollient, softening and protective properties. It is most suited to dry, mature, scaly, itchy and irritated skin and is deeply hydrating, creating an oily barrier which helps to prevent moisture loss.
